Look, we get it. We’ve been there.

The freedom of ‘working for yourself’ has another side…

No one to hold you accountable.

To do lists that don’t get done… for weeks.

Lack of structure.

The endless distractions.

Falling into a funk and losing all motivation.

The self-doubt and wondering if you really have what it takes.

Feeling completely overwhelmed and procrastinating on those all important tasks.

Yep, we know exactly how it feels.

For women business owners, entrepreneurs and creatives

Small Groups

A simple way to get stuff done and move forwards. Connecting online and working together in small pods.

Join our virtual coworking sessions from wherever you are. No willpower or complicated tech needed.

Choose the style of coworking that works for you. Scheduled sessions to bring structure to your working week. Or come and go as you please.

It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Join a coworking session.
  2. Declare your task.
  3. Get it done.

Get more done than you ever thought possible

Based on neuroscience and psychology – when distractions disappear and we are ‘under social pressure’ our brains automatically focus.

The dopamine hit of getting one thing done leads to momentum and very soon you’re in flow. Moving beyond procrastination and mindless distractions.

Supportive Community

A community of women who are all about moving forwards in small steps every day. Supporting each other to build successful businesses.

This is what some of those at our latest coworking sessions had to say

“The two toughest parts about starting a business have been 1) keeping myself accountable to dedicated productive work time and 2) missing the collaboration and camaraderie of the office. This session gave me both!”

Melissa Marcelissen

Vision Leadership

“This is the second time I’ve attended a coworking session, and I cannot stress it enough, it changes your week completely. I get 10 times more done than when I work on my own.”

Find out about the people behind Cowork Crowd

Hi, we’re Angela and Marike.

We’re multi-passionate business owners who started an informal accountability and coworking group in 2019, although we’ve both been in business for much longer.

The more we coworked together, the more we appreciated the magic that happened in our coworking sessions.

Tasks which had been on our to-do lists forever were suddenly ticked off.

And the more we got done, the more momentum we had.

It really was incredible to experience the effect of working online with a small group of other people.

So we brainstormed and got very excited about building a whole community of women who cowork and keep each other accountable.

Our dream is for Cowork Crowd to be a collaborative, kind and inclusive space, where women hold each other up and build wildly successful businesses.

We hope you’ll join us on this journey.

Angela & Marike xx

Answers to your most commonly asked questions

Why is coworking so effective?

The problem with working alone from home is that we have no structure in our week.

To do lists don’t get done. Everything becomes a distraction. We procrastinate. And there’s no one to hold us accountable.

Coworking combats this by introducing:

  • Intention and a pre-commitment to specific working sessions.
  • Accountability through peer pressure.
  • Greater clarity about the work that needs to be done.
  • The removal of distractions, leading to momentum instead of inertia.

Our aim with Cowork Crowd is to bring structure, accountability, focus and community to your working week – getting together online in small pods with other women to create ‘office hours for business owners’.

Who IS Cowork Crowd For?

Cowork Crowd is for women business owners, entrepreneurs, founders, freelancers, solopreneurs and creatives.

It’s for anyone who:

  • Struggles with procrastination.
  • Has an overwhelming to-do list.
  • Needs accountability to finish a course or project.
  • Is looking for some structure in their working week.
  • Wants to have focussed time to create content or finish a task.

It is also for practitioners who struggle to make the time to work on the business side of their practice.

And for anyone who misses people and community.

Is this just for women?

We’re an inclusive, kind and collaborative group and want to create an open and accessible group for all.

We welcome all women and non-binary people who are interested in joining us.

Please note that this membership is not designed with cis men in mind.

How do the coworking sessions work?
  • You join a scheduled session via a Zoom link.
  • At the start of each session there is a quick introduction from the moderator, then you’ll be divided into small breakout groups of 3 or 4 women.
  • In your breakout room, each person introduces themselves and declares what they are committed to working on during the session. This should only take a few minutes. Each person notes their task in the chat.
  • Everyone mutes themselves and works on their task for the remainder of the session. These are silent working sessions. We encourage everyone to leave their videos on if possible.
  • Sessions are 2 hours. After an hour, the moderator will send a message to remind everyone to stretch their legs and take a break.
  • A countdown will show at the end of the session to give you time to share your accomplishments with your group.
  • You’ll then return to the main group to share any feedback and celebrate your wins.
  • At any time during the session, if you want support or feedback on your work, you can move yourself from your breakout room back into the main room and have a chat with the moderator.

The coworking room is always available and there is usually someone in there working. We currently run moderated coworking sessions with the following check-in times:

Mondays & Wednesdays:

  • London: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm
  • New York: 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm
  • Los Angeles: 8am, 10am

Tuesdays & Thursdays:

  • London 2pm, 4pm
  • New York 9am, 11am

If you like to go with the flow, then come and go as you please. If you prefer the deadline of a specific working session, then you can schedule these around our 2-hourly check-ins.

What happens if I can't make The WHOLE session?

Don’t worry. We won’t force you to stay! You can always come and go as you please. We just ask that you don’t disrupt the group.

If you arrive after a check-in time, just add your tasks to the daily pop-up box or chat box so we know what you’re working on.

And if you need to leave before a check-in, you’re welcome to disappear off, but do let us know in the chat box how you got on with completing your task before you go.

What can I do in a coworking session?

The best bet is to bring a specific task such as something you’ve been procrastinating on.

We encourage you to commit to one single task. This could be the thing you have been putting off, or the thing that will move your business forwards the most. Try to work on important rather than urgent tasks – the urgent will always get done!

This can be something work related or something else entirely – it’s up to you!

It can be anything that you think will be helped by having some accountability and company.

It should definitely be something that you want to commit to making great progress on during the session.

This is what some of those at our latest coworking sessions had to say

In today’s session I did a massive follow up with past clients and people I had spoken to a few months ago. It was so nice to get something important done that I had put on the back-burner.

Crystal Cherry Colson

I can waste so much time, but coworking really helps me focus because I know ‘this is the thing I’m doing now’. I find it really helpful and because of the structure I’m super productive.
